Steve M. Nale has been in the Petroleum industry for over 40 years. His career began in 1980 working for both Pieco, Inc. and Glasgow Petroleum which specialized in the installation of petroleum systems for major oil companies. After almost 10 years in the industry, Steve ventured on his own and opened All American Construction Enterprises, Inc. In 1991 he was offered the position as Florida area manager with one of his competitors, B&M Construction. After many years working for B&M, Steve decided once again to open his own company. In 1998, with a small group of colleagues, Great Dane Petroleum Contractors, Inc. was open for business. Mike Balan has been working in the Petroleum industry for over 30 years. In 1998 he established Bestech Services, Inc. which became a successful Dresser Wayne ASO. They secured a contract with Chevron in addition to supporting local contractors with start-ups and installation projects. In 2012, Bestech Services merged with Great Dane Petroleum and Mike became co-owner overseeing gasoline services and sales. Juan has over 30 year’s experience in the Petroleum industry. In 2009 he started with Great Dane Petroleum as a foreman for the Pump and Tank Division and is currently in charge as manager. Juan is an expert in wet set fuel tank installations and has installed hundreds of tanks throughout Florida. He holds multiple certificates in underground storage tank systems and pollution control. Brent Wickum, has been working in the Petroleum Industry for over 26 years. In 1999 until present he joined Great Dane Petroleum as a supervisor of the piping division. Due to his expertise in his field and the top quality work he had completed, it was deemed fair to upgrade his status to co-owner of Great Dane Petroleum in 2007. Over the years he has obtained various certificates such as OSHA, Hazwoper, Verses UST & Health and Safety Management to further his industry knowledge. Ed started his professional career in the electrical industry in 1974. In 1987 he opened Edward Airs Electrical Design Co. where they serviced all aspects of the industry. His company performed residential work as well as store remodels to complete turnkey electrical work for ground up gas stations and tank/dispenser installs. In 2012, he became the manager of Great Dane’s electrical department after the two companies merged. . Dano began his career in 1976 as a plumber with the Port of Miami. He opened GPM Contractors, which provided retail plumbing services and build outs. In 2012 GPM and Great Dane merged where Dano became the manager of the Plumbing & Utility Division. Robert Freeman has been working at Great Dane for over 20 years. As maintenance manager “Bobby” oversees 16 maintenance technicians in order to service a multitude of customers throughout the state of Florida. In addition to being the maintenance manager, Bobby oversees the special projects division which completes over 120 projects a year.Construction
